FOR PATIENTS

A licensed acupuncturist has completed a three to four year professional training in acupuncture resulting in a Masters Degree.  A professional curriculum consists of Chinese medicine theory, diagnosis and treatment techniques in acupuncture and related studies.  This program includes both theory and hands on clinical practice.  The final year is spent treating patients under close supervision by a licensed acupuncturist.  After they graduate and pass their board exams they apply for state licensure.  All of this makes certain that your acupuncturist is knowledgeable about how to help you improve your health.  If you still have questions, we have an FAQ section just for you.
